Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This is a plain-language summary of our approach to preventing misuse of KuMining. It is a template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer for any specific jurisdiction — it does not replace independent legal advice.

1. No illicit funds

You may not use KuMining to deposit, mine, or withdraw funds connected to fraud, theft, hacking, ransomware, money laundering, sanctions evasion, terrorist financing, or any other illegal activity. Using the platform means you confirm the funds you deposit are yours and were obtained lawfully.

2. Verification may be requested

We may ask you to confirm your email, verify your identity, or provide additional information before processing a deposit or withdrawal — especially for large or unusual amounts, or where account activity looks inconsistent with normal use. Accounts that don't complete requested verification may have withdrawals held until it's done.

3. Deposit and withdrawal screening

Deposit and withdrawal addresses may be checked against publicly available risk indicators (for example, known exposure to hacks, mixers, or sanctioned addresses). We may decline to process a transaction connected to a high-risk address.

4. Monitoring and review

We review account activity on an ongoing basis, and may flag, delay, or decline a transaction that looks unusual, structured to avoid review thresholds, or inconsistent with how the account has been used before.

5. Sanctioned persons and jurisdictions

KuMining is not available to individuals or entities on applicable sanctions lists (such as those maintained by the UN, US OFAC, EU, or UK), or operating from jurisdictions where use of this service would be unlawful or sanctioned.

6. Source of funds

For larger or higher-risk activity, we may ask you to explain or document where deposited funds came from before crediting them or releasing a related withdrawal.

7. Record-keeping

We keep records of account activity, deposits, withdrawals, and any verification information you provide, for as long as needed to review transactions, respond to legitimate legal requests, and meet recordkeeping obligations.

8. Reporting

Where we reasonably suspect an account is being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illicit activity, we may suspend the account and, where required by law, report the activity to the relevant authorities. We are not able to tell you if or when such a report has been made.

9. Account holds and declines

We may place a temporary hold on a deposit, withdrawal, or account while we complete a review. This is a standard part of how we apply this policy and isn't necessarily a finding of wrongdoing.

10. Cooperation with authorities

We cooperate with law enforcement and regulators where legally required, including responding to valid legal process such as a court order or subpoena.

11. Staff awareness

Anyone involved in reviewing transactions or support requests is expected to understand and apply this policy, and to escalate activity that looks suspicious.

12. Policy review

We review this policy periodically and update it as our platform, risk understanding, or legal obligations change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
